General Electric C32-8

Conrail's 10 unique C32-8's are the entire production of this model by General Electric. These are the first units of GE's highly successful Dash 8 line. The Dash 8 line is responsible for General Electric becoming the leading domestic locomotive manufacturer.

These rare and historically important locomotives have been relegated to ballast train service. They wear a unique gray "Ballast Express" paint scheme.
