From November 3, 1990 through November 18, 1990, Heike and I shared a wonderful adventure on the islands of St. Vincent, The Grenadines, and Grenada. This was our "real" honeymoon, one year and three months after our wedding. Armed with a Fodor's Caribbean book, we searched for the perfect spot. After reading the descriptions of the beauty of the Grenadines, and the Grenadines Mail Boat, I was sold on St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Heike took some persuading, she wanted to go somewhere and just relax, Grenada sounded really nice.
We decided to do both. If we traveled as cheaply as we could, we could go for two full weeks. It was a good choice. On these Islands the people are warm and friendly. You really don't need any more than the most basic place to stay. It's always hot, and everything's No Problem, Mon.
