"Read my lips" means absolutely nothing! Actions count! Citizens of Pennsylvania who are reading this IQ* Exclusive news, please pray for understanding, swallow hard, and read on. If you are not a citizen of Pennsylvania, but know of one or more, Please forward this news to them. Please note, although a registered Republican (to vote out bad Republican candidates in the primary elections), I vote for individuals, not any one party. If I ever do run, though, I will run under the Constitution Party, because they are the ONLY party to acknowledge Jesus Christ (see their Preamble if you're interested). I say this because my sources are from people who happen to be registered under different political parties. Being concerned over the next president of my state (governor), I did some digging into the politically-correct "conservative" candidate, Mike Fisher, to discover information that made me pale (I was planning on voting for him!). My sources are legitimate and trustworthy. You can easily follow up on the information. References are provided and relative information is easily accessible on the Internet. I will also answer questions & provide contacts upon request. ########## SUMMARY Pa. Governor candidate Mike Fisher (R), as a member of the Association of Attorneys General, already signed onto the horrific Pa. Health Powers Act (MEHPA), which would give the governor (him if he's elected!) the power to use the National Guard to confiscate and destroy your property, home, firearms, quarantine you and your family against your will, force inoculations into you and medical tests on you against your will and against the will of medical practitioners, without him or his elected "Public Safety Authority" bureaucrats being held responsible for any damages or death attributed to you or your family! Republican Senator Mike Fisher, when he served in the PA legislature, was the person who introduced legislation to send delegates to the Convention of the States (COS). At that time, COS was only about 2 or 5 states short of that required by the federal Constitution for the states to call a Constitutional Convention. So what? When a Constitutional Convention is called, everything, absolutely everything in our current Constitution is up for change or elimination. In fact, the entire Constitution can be scrapped and replaced with a new document. ########## SOURCE #1 I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but, Mike Fisher is on the Board of the Association of Attorneys General which signed off on this bill before it even reached the 50 states. When he came to Lancaster in the Spring to speak to a conservative group I went. During the question and answer time, I held up the Act as it was originally sent out with the list of all the folks who were in agreement with it (including the Association of Attorneys General and the Association of Governors etc). I asked him if he was in support of this and if not, why it had gotten that far if he was on the board. He did not answer my question but had me escorted from the room. I don't think he will be any better then Rendell. Laurel Laurel Lynn Petolicchio is running for Pa. At that time, COS was only about 2 or 5 states short of that required by the federal Constitution for the states to call a Constitutional Convention. So what? This last occurred in 1787, when the state's delegates (ie., "the people") convened to discuss weaknesses in the Articles of Federation to satisfy, primarily, a trade dispute between Maryland and neighboring states. As soon as a quorum was present, a resolution was introduced to call for a Constitutional convention. As a result, the Articles of Federation was SCRAPPED and our current Constitution - minus the 22 or so amendments added since - became the Supreme Law of the Land. This was the danger of COS. When a Constitutional Convention is called, everything, absolutely everything in our current Constitution, is up for change or elimination. In fact, the entire Constitution can be scrapped and replaced with a new document. None, nada, of our current protections would be guaranteed to survive. In fact, if so moved, the delegates at COS could have chosen to put us totally under UN control. Though statist political supporters of COS - like Republican Mike Fisher -- insisted that a Constitutional Convention was not the aim of COS, the fact of the matter is that all the legal and Constitutional requirements to hold a Constitutional Convention would be satisfied with just a few more states signing on to send delegates. It is important to recall that the States created the Federal government and the Constitution makes provisions for the States to abolish or alter that Federal government. COS would have been that provision. At that time among the states and the feds (both are controlled by the same party of the RepubliCrats), much discussion was occurring to scrap the 4th Amendment that regulates search and seizure. In fact, in around '96, the Republican controlled Congress passed legislation severely weakening the 4th; a later Court challenge rescued us from that. My local Republican Congressman Jimmy Greenwood voted for this. Similar legislation was introduced in PA after Congress passed their version. My Republican State Representative Paul Clymer was a supporter of this legislation to weaken PA's Constitution protection against unwarranted search and seizure. When Clymer's support was publicly challenged by yours truly and other Libertarians in Quakertown, good ol' conservative Republican Paul Clymer threw the PA Constitution unto the floor. This occurred in the public meeting room of the Quakertown Borough Hall and was witnessed by the Press and about six other people. Paul refused to read the section of our State's Constitution protecting unlawful search and seizure. As we continued to press him, he grabbed the Constitution from Tony's hand and threw it on the floor! Also in the COS snipers target was the 9th Amendment, which reserves to the states and the people respectively all rights and authority not explicitly granted to the Fed's in our Constitutional contract. Elimination of this Amendment would have created a totally centralized federal government with absolute control and authority over each and every state - if statehood would survive COS. Thanks to 2 local patriot citizens, Pennsylvania did not sign COS. Chuck B., a member of the John Birch Society in Montgomery County, caught wind of what was happening in Harrisburg through another recent JBS member whose name I forget. This other guy, only about 18 years of age, somehow heard of it, and he and Chuck drove out to Harrisburg, leaving around 1:00 AM. Met with their local rep and explained the dangers. Their rep agreed and brought it up at the Committee meeting scheduled that morning. The Committee was scheduled to vote to bring it to the House floor that very morning. Fortunately as a result, the committee agreed to hear more. Through JBS, Chuck contacted Mr. Don Fotheringham, whose special study is constitutional issues. Mr. Fotheringham convinced the state's Committee that the dangers to turn COS into a Constitutional Convention was very real. As a result, the Committee tabled the resolution. [ http://www.jbs.org/bulletin/1996/496const.htm ] National media like the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Christian Science Monitor were dismayed that such an event happened in PA to kill COS and that the promise of COS was scuttled by two JBS'ers from Montgomery County. That's right folks, two wacko crazies (if you accept the established [secular media] view of JBS) scuttled a devious plan by the Republican and Democratic politicians you trust to rewrite or trash our current Constitution, with no guarantees rights of the people or the states would survive. Thanks to this attention, however, the remaining states woke up, saw the light, and COS died a quiet death - much to the dismay of Republican Mike Fisher. But thanks to Mike Fisher, PA came very close to endorsing COS and bringing us to the brink of having a Constitutional Convention. He is asking for your trust on Election Day to serve as your governor. What think ye? Whose the evil of the lesser now [Fisher or Rendell]? ########## 4 Candidates Are Running for Pennsylvania Governor Kenneth V. (1991 ed, 1,598pp, pb) Here are a few excerpts from one sermon: "... Cherish then, that immortal document of what once were declared in the face of the world to be the principles of this country... Give me leave to say further, you will not mistake the will and pleasure of the country, if you give all your friendship, all your best wishes, and all the support in your power to the incomparable Constitution of the United States. This Constitution was adopted by a fair expression of the public will. It is the government of the country and the ordinance of God. When we examine its merits, we find it but another edition of the genuine principles of republicanism, equal rights if foundation, and the welfare of the people its object. The precious maxims of the Declaration of Independence are transplanted into the Constitution. And as under the former the country marched to victory, so under the latter she may advance to prosperity. Let the Constitution then, be esteemed the palladium of all that we hold dear. Let it be venerated as the sanctuary of our liberties and all government. Be genuine friends of order... Be not devoted to man. Let principles ever guide your attachments. To be blindly devoted to names and men's person's, is at once a token of a slavish spirit, and a sure way to throw the country into virulent parties...Our Constitution contemplated independent freemen, men having a mind of their own, when it provided the right of suffrage... So long as a man in power behaves well and cleaves to your own principles, give him your support and your applause. But the instant he departs from the line prescribed for him by your social compact, peaceable resort to your right of suffrage, and hurl him from his eminence, be he who he may... Let the spirit of our fathers come upon us. Be men: rise: let another race of patriots appear: bring forward another band of sages. Let America once more be the admiration of the world..."
