Sign this online petition to impeach the twisted six Supreme Court Justices who voted sodomy legal in the U.S.A. : http://www.conservativepetitions.com/petitions.php?id=222 This petition and campaign is led by Randall Terry. Details on Randall Terry are available at http://www.RandallTerry.com Details on Randall Terry's fight against the militant homosexual agenda are available at http://www.twistedsix.com ==================== ==================== (2) Atkins Report Well, if you're interested in my Atkins Nutrition System progress, I've leveled off at a 12 lb. fat loss. What I've noticed most is that I don't experience ups and downs during the day. It's smooth sailing. I believe that this is due to the no-sugar no-breads (our highly-process breads turn right into sugar when digested) part of the nutrition system. Now I've got to get myself into gear and get those nutritional supplements to aid me in losing those last 10 desired pounds of fat. I'm hoping that as I move into a, hopefully, more regular regimented weight lifting routine, that the fat will disappear and be replaced by muscle. Either way, I love the new all-day-long calm feeling I get. The calm is only interrupted when I introduce coffee (caffeine), which I'm trying to cut out. The Atkins Nutrition System states that caffeine isn't good. I know from my dad's green tea & no caffeine diet that caffeine somehow increases insulin in your blood, which creates cholesterol and fat. It seems that the Atkins Nutrition System takes the best of many eating systems and rolls them into one. ==================== ==================== (3) Joseph Farah's New Radio Show Have you ever wanted to chat with WorldNetDaily Editor and founder Joseph Farah? Is it? http://www.givemeliberty.org/ ==================== ==================== (7) During the Recess (CWA) CWA thanks you wholeheartedly for your persistent work as we labor to turn the tide of our culture for Christ. We depend so greatly on your response to our e-alerts because your action makes a tremendous difference. Your continued support, enthusiasm and initiative make it possible for CWA to impact our nation more powerfully. While Congress is out of session for the month of August, you can be even more influential. Over the next few weeks, your senators and representative will be at home in their districts, giving you the valuable opportunity to visit them and speak to them regarding issues that you feel are important. The most effective lobbying activity is a personal meeting between a constituent and his or her congressman. We urge you to take advantage of this critical time as your congressmen consider future legislation. Hearing from you will influence how they vote! A FEW TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL VISIT: When you visit your representative, be cordial and polite. Thank him for taking time to visit with you. Be sure to thank him for any pro-family votes, and express your disappointment about any votes with which you disagreed. Then let the representative know about future legislation that is important to you as a voter. Give simple, concise requests and explain that it matters to you which way they vote. At the conclusion of the meeting, thank your congressman. Let him know that you are praying for him and that you believe he performs a valuable and important service to you and your country. Also, request a meeting with him during the next recess. We hope that several important issues will come to the table when Congress reconvenes in September. Talk to your representative about these issues: +++ 1) PARENTS' RIGHT TO KNOW ACT OF 2003 (H.R. 2444) This bill would require that clinics that receive Title X funds must notify parents before giving contraceptives to children. This bill defends parental rights and responsibility, and it also protects children from harm. For Talking Points on this bill, visit this link: http://www.cwfa.org/articles/4290/CWA/life/index.htm Ask your representative to co-sponsor this important piece of legislation. +++ 2) JUDICIAL NOMINATIONS Due to continued liberal opposition, several nominees for U.S. Circuit Courts have been denied the up or down vote that they deserve. These nominees are solid candidates and would provide justice and wisdom in our nation's courtrooms. They are worthy of your full support. However, the radical left has blocked the process and refused to even hold a vote for these Bush nominees. For Talking Points on problems with the filibuster, visit this link: http://www.cwfa.org/articles/3807/LEGAL/nation/index.htm Urge your Senators to bring the votes on the president's nominees to the floor. Let them know that you support these candidates and request that they do the same. +++ 3) HOUSES OF WORSHIP FREE SPEECH RESTORATION ACT (H.R. 235) Current law gives the IRS the power to revoke a church's tax-exempt status if that church produces any material deemed ''too political'' - thus giving the government the power to suppress the church. This bill preserves a standard of religious liberty by reversing that policy. Visit this link for a CWA paper on H.R. 235: http://www.cwfa.org/articles/3628/CWA/freedom/index.htm You may also visit this informational website: http://www.hr235.org/ Ask your Representative to co-sponsor this important piece of legislation. **Also, ask your pastor to write a letter to your Congressman on church letterhead supporting this bill. Hearing from pastors from the community and the congregations that they represent will send a powerful message to Capitol Hill. (Also, please send a copy of your letter to Rep. Walter Jones, 422 Cannon House Office Building, Washington DC 20515). +++ 4) HOME SCHOOL NON-DISCRIMINATION ACT OF 2003, HoNDA (H.R. 2732) Rep. Marilyn Musgrave (R-CO) has introduced a bill that would reverse policies that unfairly impact home schooling families. The bill would ensure that home school students receive the same opportunities to receive federal funds/scholarships and the same protections of their records that public school students receive. Home schooling is a positive development in education. If parents think that home schooling is the best option for their children, they should be able to pursue that option without the threat of negative consequences. Ask your Representative to support H.R. 2732. CWA is immensely grateful for the hard work of our members. Your continued action greatly encourages us. Please take advantage of the next few weeks. We look forward to seeing how God works through you to influence our country!
