(7) Prayer Request! ==================== ==================== (1) 52,000 New Voters! Those who helped me collect the 1,706 signatures that were needed for me to get onto the ballot (we collected over 2,000!) heard it all! As I've shared many times, while I was collecting signatures throughout Doylestown, the power hub of the Reps and Dems, I heard the same phrase, over and over, "I'll only sign if you're neither a Republican nor a Democrat," reflecting the well-known frustration over neither party following through with decades of broken promises. Many, many people who were approached first replied with replies like, "leave me alone, I have nothing to do with politics," after which I prayerfully replied with my message of the Constitution Party with our 40 planks of solutions. Many who have given up on our political system and who had given up on voting stopped, listened, and asked for my card. I was asked, over and over, if they had to register "Constitution" to vote for me or if they could vote for me if they had already registered under another party. The answer, of course, was that they could vote for whomever they wanted, regardless of their voter registration. It's amazing how that knowledge seemed to lift a great weight off of so many shoulders. These "meetings" began around June and continued through today. That's five months of giving a new true choice to those who had stopped voting and who knew that there has not been a solution followed-through by either of the "established" parties. The October 28 Edition of the Phila Inquirer, the Voter Guide Edition, reported that in Bucks County, there have been 52,000 NEW registered voters since the last election. Knowing that I have been promised votes from registered voters from every party (Democrat, Libertarian, and Republican), I KNOW, by faith, that the world will be shocked tomorrow over what they see happen in District 8! I have received e-mails from people who have visited my website and seen the Truth about my opponents, which has energized these citizens to explode into action for our cause. It has been such a thrill being on the side of Truth! Please join me in prayer tonight and throughout tomorrow, that God's Will shall be accomplished in every political race across our nation. If you have time tomorrow and can work a poll (stand in front of a voting area and hand out literature promoting me and the Constitution Party), please do so! Since I was laid off, I don't have enough PTO to work the polls, so I'm depending on you for any help. I'm attaching a MS Word document that you can print off and cut for handout materials for every person entering the voting building. Please also use the Get Involved page to make materials! I can not thank you enough for your prayers and action! ==================== ==================== (2) Last Debate Update! WOW! Every debate got better, and my last was my favorite! The Candidate Forum took place at the No Longer Bound Prevention and Treatment Center (Annex) in Bristol, PA. The Center is on the property of First Baptist Church of Bristol, Pa.! OOOHHHHH YES! Talk about an answer to prayer! The audience was rock-solid rooted in the Biblical worldview! I was literally "preaching to the choir!" AMEN! I was able to basically teach a streamlined version of the "Taking Back the Gates" seminar to everyone in the room! It's amazing how Jesus answers prayers. Throughout my life, I've been called to teaching (my second chosen major in college), ministry (my missions work; I had been thinking about seminary), and government. During this debate, Jesus allowed me to fulfill each calling at once! Although I was misquoted (misunderstood) throughout the Courier Times article (I held a copy of the U.S. Constitution, not the Pa. Constitution, and shared my solution for funding Weed and Seed at first constitutionally only through Pa., with my detailed plan to remove the need for it by returning tax money to church/synagogue members, reversing the tithe shortage, so that the cause of crime, lives void of God and His Truth, could be reversed through faith institutions), my goal was fulfilled: Doris Harvey learned so much Saturday at the congressional candidate's forum in Bristol Township that she's even more fired up for Election Day on Tuesday. Harvey, 78, attended a forum hosted by the township's Weed and Seed Committee, an organization that fights crime in some of the township's toughest neighborhoods. She was one of more than 100 residents who packed a meeting room at No Longer Bound, a drug and alcohol prevention program on Norton Avenue. Forum showcases candidates' viewpoints By WINSLOW MASON JR. Bucks County Courier Times In Saturday's forum with 8th District candidates in Bristol Township, Democrat Ginny Schrader (left) and Republican Mike Fitzpatrick listen as Constitution Party candidate Erich Lukas (center) answers a question. After the forum completed, Ginny and Mike left and I stayed to speak personally with every citizen. I answered all questions, gave each person my phone #, and even was privileged to sign one of my cards for a little girl. Many people thanked me for teaching them things that they never knew about how our U.S. and state constitutions were designed to function, as well as how inseparable Biblical law is from U.S. law. Before I left, I was able to speak with the pastor of First Baptist Church of Bristol. We agreed on everything that I discussed. I gave him one of my "Taking Back the Gates" tapes for him to keep; the one that discusses "the government church" and how it is removing the true Church (instead of receiving food and spiritual healing through God's Church, people receive food stamps from the government church, etc.). He promised to call me with any questions. It was an incredible blessing!!! It was also wonderful that my parents could attend my final debate. Just last week they celebrated their 36th Wedding Anniversary. You can see how their dedication to each other and to our family has greatly contributed to the man who I am today. Without God and Family, our Republic can not stand; hence, my motto, "God * Family * Republic," in that order. Thanks Mom & Dad, for raising me to seek the truth and act on it according to my calling. ==================== ==================== (3) New Book Backs My Message! One of the main points that I drove home in every debate is how most of our legislators and other elected officials break the U.S. Constitution every day. A new book backs up my claim: Fox's 'Judge' pens blockbuster book Andrew Napolitano's 'Constitutional Chaos' exposes government lawbreaking http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=41118 "Constitutional Chaos" makes the case that there is a pernicious and ever-expanding pattern of government abuse in America's criminal justice system. Napolitano's vast experience in the legal world has prompted him to adopt as the creed: "The government is not your friend." He reiterates that creed in the introduction of "Constitutional Chaos": It should be against the law to break the law. Unfortunately, it is not. In early 21st century America, a long-standing dirty little secret still exists among public officials, politicians, judges, prosecutors and police. The government – federal, state and local – is not bound to obey its own laws. I know this sounds crazy, but the events recounted in this book prove it true. "Constitutional Chaos" should be a wake-up call for every American who prizes personal liberty in a free society. Because it breaks the law, the government is not your friend. When I arrived on the bench, I had impeccable conservative Republican law-and-order credentials. When I left eight years later, I was a born-again individualist, after witnessing first-hand how the criminal justice system works to subvert and shred the Constitution. You think you’ve got rights that are guaranteed ? Well, think again. Because the government breaks the law and denies it, the government is not your friend. Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty, particularly when it comes to the American criminal justice system. Nowhere else does the state have greater raw power over an individual’s life, liberty, and property. And nowhere else are our constitutionally guaranteed rights and freedoms under such a relentless, subtle and ultimately devastating attack. Because the government breaks the law and hides it, the government is not your friend. ==================== ==================== (4) Ballot Lever # for Erich Lukas! Maybe you've heard "pro-family" or "pro-life" organizations and/or faith institutions (pastor/priest/rabbi) provide information on how we should vote and/or for whom we should vote. I know that in many instances, these organizations/people may have only endorsed a two-party system (keeping the Whole Truth from you by not providing choices like the Constitution Party (the Third Largest Party in the U.S.A.) or the Libertarian Party). Yes, it's a sad state of affairs in many organizations and faith institutions. You may have heard that "sometimes you have to vote for the lesser of two evils." Well, according to my Bible, Evil is Evil, no matter the size, great or small. By not providing our citizens with the Whole Truth, our citizens see only two choices (Republican or Democrat); a tragic deception! I've seen comparisons between Bush and Kerry over partial birth abortion, promoting Bush as the good guy. You know that partial birth abortion is just as evil as any abortion; murder is murder. Bush is OK with the execution of pre-born people whose fathers are rapists or who committed incest with the pre-born person's mother. Not only is this breaking the U.S. Constitution ("We the People of the United States, in Order to... secure the Blessings of Liberty to ...our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America"), it is in direct defiance of The Word of God, "Fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their fathers; each is to die for his own sin (Deuteronomy 24:16). We are to vote for the most pro-life person, regardless of popularity in the press, etc. God makes no exceptions for being Pro-Life. The only Pro-Life Presidential Candidate is Michael Peroutka of the Constitution Party. I am the only Pro-Life Candidate for U.S. Congress in U.S. District 8. Please pray that those who know this Truth will vote according to the Bible and the U.S. Constitution. ==================== ==================== (6) Thank YOU! As I've said many times before, I can not thank you enough for your prayers and support! A great thank you goes out to my great friends from First Baptist Church who helped me collect signatures and bring the message of the Gospel and the Constitution Party to our towns. The same great thanks goes out to my great friends in the John Birch Society who helped me with equal unquenchable determination.
