Good news about recall Posted: October 8, 2003 1:00 a.m. Eastern by Joseph Farah © 2003 WorldNetDaily.com They said it couldn't be done. All the political experts said California Gov. Gray Davis could not be recalled. They were all wrong. The good news in yesterday's vote is that grass-roots activism still works in American politics. The good news is that corruption in government can be stopped by the people. The good news is that every politician in America has something to think about today and there's potential for a wildfire of righteous indignation across the nation. This movement got started by the talk-radio hosts in Sacramento and San Francisco. They were the igniters of this revolution. They are the real heroes. They are the real victors – along with the people. They showed that even Californians, conditioned for top-down rule, can rebel and rebel successfully. It's hard to remember, but this didn't start out as the Arnold Schwarzenegger Show. And it shouldn't be remembered that way. Long before Schwarzenegger threw his hat into the ring, regular people – activists – got the political juggernaut started. Schwarzenegger merely made an opportune decision, capitalized on his fame and benefited from the hard work of people – most of whom didn't cast their votes for the actor. The historic nature of the recall itself cannot and should not be overlooked or overshadowed by the imposing silhouette of the Terminator. There's good news in this vote – really good news for the entire nation. In fact, it's better news for the rest of the U.S. than it is for California. No, I don't think Schwarzenegger has the answers for rescuing California from fiscal and moral disaster. But the successful recall provides real hope for all Americans because of the message it sends to the people and the politicians. Never again will entrenched professional politicians feel secure in oppressing the people and subverting the rule of law. It doesn't matter that the recall process doesn't exist in many other states. It doesn't matter that the recall process doesn't have application for politicians on the federal level. It doesn't matter. What matters is that today the people across America feel empowered again. They believe they can make a difference. And believing is half the battle. What all politicians know is that they must face voters. And they learned that even the seemingly safest incumbents can and will be taken out by angry voters. I hope this message is sinking in across the country today. I hope people recognize what really happened yesterday in California. This is not just about Arnold Schwarzenegger. The recall of Gray Davis would clearly have been successful without him, too. I wrote a book earlier this year called "Taking America Back." What we witnessed yesterday in California is one example of how we can still take America back. ------- IQ* Note: Did you know that a candidate MUST get formal, written, legally-binding on both sides endorsement by a political party in order to run for either a first-time election or a re-election for that political party? Hmmmmm. Isn't Arnold Schwarzenegger pro-abortion, anti-2nd Amendment, pro-sodomite lifestyle rights, and socialist? YES. Did the Republican Party endorse, support, and promote him? YES!!! Does the Republican Party re-endorse baby killers (pro-abortion) Fed Rep. James Greenwood and Fed Senator Arlen Specter election after election after election after election??? YES. YES. Even Gary Bauer, staunch defender of the Republican Party, stated in his 10/8/03 e-news: "Here's my next prediction. At the Republican national convention in New York City next year, you are going to hear "big tent" rhetoric - if not those very words - until you can't take any more. "The GOP is big enough..." they will tell us for pro-abortion Arnold and pro-life Henry Hyde. It is wide enough for a pro-gay rights Governor, like George Pataki, and a pro-family Majority Leader, like Tom DeLay. It is deep enough for the pro-homosexual "marriage" Log Cabin Republicans and the Christian Coalition. But will such a party be principled enough to actually fight for the conservative social values of the great majority of its voters? A house divided against itself cannot stand." I've got news for Gary (who I respect; he has good intentions): when any party lets even one candidate run or re-run for election against its supposed pro-family platform, that party is corrupt in the eyes of Bible-believing Christians and Jews! God will not bless any organization that condones the murder of His baby children! How can any of us??!! Good News! The IQ* Solution is easy! AMERICA'S FAILING PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM By Ashley Anderson, 16 years old September 16, 2003 NewsWithViews.com It's back to school time! This is for all the parents and their children who attend public school. I attended public school all my life, until September 2002 when I began attending a private, Christian school. The differences are incredible! Reading, writing, and arithmetic used to be what a child learned in school. Is this what you think your child is getting in school? Throughout most of my time spent in public school, the kids in my classes only read one or two books throughout the whole year. I was identified as being smart/dumb enough to go to "Gifted and Talented" a.k.a. Advanced Placement classes. The Advanced Placement courses have now been replaced with IB classes, which are part of the International Baccalaureate Organization, UNESCO, United Nations. In this class, we were assigned numerous short stories to read, mostly about the myths of other countries, and about their religions. This class bragged it was a higher-level class, in which advanced students could "maximize" their learning capacity. I was busy learning about the religions and cultures of other countries, but never knowing such authors as Henry van Dyke, Washington Irving, O. Henry, or even Henry Wadsworth Longfellow until I attended private school. These authors and others like Mark Twain and Emily Dickinson are purely American, and the basis for all literary writings in America to date. Why were they never taught to me? Even in the so-called advanced classes we never read "Rip van Winkle." Instead, we were assigned books like "The Giver" by Lois Lowry, which gave the details of killing babies and living in a world where no one was special and a person's worth was based on his/her ability to conform to the group. Was I being conditioned? After reading this letter in a shortened form in the newspaper last week, two public school teachers fired back with a letter of their own. They spoke about how great their school was and how their students read a book a week, not one a year. Are they really reading them, or are they "skimming" and using "study guides" to pass the test? They criticized my remarks about "The Giver" being inappropriate reading. They said, "The Giver is certainly about much more than 'killing babies'. In fact, the reader should realize the novel is based on what would happen if our individuality, freedom and world were taken away. Its theme is similar to 'Fahrenheit 451' by Ray Bradbury and '1984' by George Orwell." I wonder if they know that Lois Lowry's book is being read to children as young as 6 years old and sometimes younger? How can a child that young understand the significance of what's being read to them? After reading it, I was really shaken up, wondering why I was reading something like that when I was only in the seventh grade. This was in the "Advanced Placement/pre-IB" class; I was still only about 12 years old. What about the book, "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" by Maya Angelou? It's a book also being assigned to black as well as white children to read. It's a story filled with disappointment, frustration, and tragedy. Why do young children need to know that the author was raped at the age of eight? This is literary significance? Kids are told they will be writing in a "journal" and that no one will see it except the teacher, and they are free to write whatever they are feeling. They could write about parents, friends, pastor, and anyone else, and parents would never know! When I was given this assignment, I knew my privacy was being invaded, so I wrote about how ridiculous it was to write in a journal. It was really none of the school's business. Strangely, I was never reprimanded or counseled. They were profiling me and to see how and what I thought. Why else would they want to pry into my private life? They were treating me like just another "product" of the education system, just another number. They want worker bees. Push a button. Pull a lever. Get just enough 'education' to learn how to be compliant, happy little 21st Century workers who don't ask any questions and keep their noses to the grindstone. I thought, "surely, not my school". I was wrong. In the 8th grade, my science class spent the first six weeks learning from the end of the textbook. It was all about global warming, recycling, and population control. It made me wonder how this "control" will be accomplished. My teacher wanted to get all those things out of the way so we wouldn't have to deal with them later in the year, but why are they in the curriculum in the first place? For one geography assignment, I was asked to list all the major appliances in my house including microwave ovens, telephones, televisions, etc. They even wanted to know what the highest level of education my parents had achieved, and a roundabout figure of how much they earned each year. It was an exercise to make me feel badly that American families have so much and the rest of the world goes needy. I began to feel sorry for people in other countries who don't have as much. I started to want everything to be fair, and for everyone to have exactly the same. The very things my parents taught me, like working hard, don't cheat anyone, and earn your own way, were changed little by little in seeing how people live in these third-world toilets. It scared me that someone could just change my ideals by playing on my emotions. They were manipulating my compassionate feelings and using them against me to make me want what they call "equality". I still wonder at how they will use the list (which was taken up) in the future. When my mother was in school, she was taught phonics. In public school, I was taught to memorize the look of words and how they sounded. I was taught to remember the answer, not understand the question. I didn't have spelling or vocabulary words to learn past the sixth or seventh grade. Why not? In my private school, everyone has spelling and vocabulary words, in every grade, every week, to understand and learn how to use them in sentences. Words like philanthropy, misanthropic, and ameliorate were never taught to me in public school, despite the so-called "advanced" classes I was in. My mother, however, insisted on my having vocabulary words, even though it was not provided in public school. Reliance on technology was very big in public school. I was told not to worry about spelling something correctly, because computers have spell check programs on them. Isn't school the place to learn how to spell correctly? These were English papers I was writing in middle school and I'm not supposed to be concerned with spelling? Learning arithmetic has taken on a whole new meaning in public schools. I was told to use a calculator every chance I got, and was even reprimanded for doing the work on paper. I know how to push a button on the rectangular device, and it's not that difficult. The more advanced students are made to wait for the others to catch up, and the advanced students are given "busy" work. I reviewed daily however, when doing the math in my head or on a piece of paper. The textbook often goes unfinished, and the students are passed anyway, because they tried their best. Grading on a curve is commonplace in public schools, so the students don't know if they're doing anything wrong. I had the same geometry teacher my older brother had when he was at that age. Mr. Smith we'll say, actually told the class: "Some of you need to miss a few questions for the team…' He was meaning of course that it would make the top grade of the 'curve' look better. That was in the eighth grade in public school. In the ninth grade I took Algebra. When I changed to private school, I retook Algebra because my new school taught it differently, being more advanced, and with more of the textbook. This year I'm taking trig and Algebra II, both of my own choice. I know I'll be getting the most out of them because we won't be waiting for everyone to catch up like we did in public school. I can learn at my own pace. Most kids in public schools are uncontrollable. How can any learning actually take place? Respect for authority, integrity, and honor are not virtues generally practiced by students who attend public school. If the administrators were to enforce the rules they have, they wouldn't need to make more. Total control is the only thing gained when making more rules than needed, or altering the students individually. I see now that teachers in public school seemed to be watching for kids who were having trouble concentrating on things, or who were especially disruptive. Only later did I learn that these kids were sent home with notes from the teacher recommending the parents take them to the doctor to get medicine for their "behavior problem"; a mind-altering drug called methylphenidate, or Ritalin. Schools get extra help (money) from Uncle Sam for putting up with kids using this medication. Many parents will tell you that their children on Ritalin act like zombies; my brother did for five years, until my mother insisted on taking him off of it. Ritalin use causes shrinkage of brain tissue, according to medical sources. Does your child's school brag about being "Drug Free"? I was amazed at how well-behaved the students at my private school were. Not only did they work hard, but were courteous, polite, and obedient. These things are a direct result of the proper atmosphere that a private school provides. Christian values are taught, along with studying the Bible, which, needless to say, is strictly taboo in a public school. Although I had some great teachers in public school, which are extremely hard to find, they could do nothing with the curriculum they were given from their superiors, not to mention the state, and the Department of Education, which is a part of the federal government. The department itself is unconstitutional; "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." The United States as is written here means the federal government, or national government. The Constitution allowed no such power to the federal government as to run a federal department of education. Therefore, it is unconstitutional. The Constitution, since 1787, is and has been the Supreme Law of the land. I encourage all those who care about their children and grandchildren to go searching for the answer. There is a lot of information available but you may have to look no further than a book by Charlotte Iserbyt called "The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America". It gives a detailed account of what really happens in public schools, why, and where the corruption comes from. Students: no one can tell you who you are. If you don't think for yourself, someone else will. It might be a strong-willed friend, the media, or even our own government. Some people would have us believe that young people can't do anything about it, even if we wanted to try. One thing we can and should do, and that's spread the word about what is going on; but you have to learn more about it. Even though it may be difficult to fund attending a private school or homeschooling, it is the only immediate way to stop what is being shoved down the throats of America's youth. Soon even these may be forbidden. What is the most important thing? Is it more important to play football or be a cheerleader and end up flipping hamburgers in a fast food joint, or actually learning something that will be valuable to you the rest of your life? Defend your mind, and ask questions. Don't take anything for granted. Public school is not going to change, because it is running exactly how the government wants it to run. Follow the money. I am grateful to those teachers who taught me to think for myself and from whom I actually learned many things. They became my friends. It's because of them that I find it easy to defend the facts and stand up for the righteous truth. They are employees of the federal government, whether they think so or not, because public school is 'public' school, if you're in Arkansas or Wyoming. I am a Christian. Believers don't belong in Pharaoh's schools. This is not the time for us to stick our heads in the dirt and hope that everything goes all right. The remnant of Christ's followers exists today as foretold in the Bible. This is the time for all believers in Christ to rise up and defend the rights our Forefathers left to us. I will stand and fight until the end, because I owe it to my country. What will you do? Thank you mom for caring enough about me to take me out of the public school system so that I can get a proper education. Now, I am no longer a part of the dumbed down masses. © 2003 NewsWithViews - All Rights Reserved Sign Up For Free E-Mail Alerts Ashley Anderson is 16 year old. A ministry combating the homosexual agenda has begun producing daily radio commentaries entitled "Straight Talk Radio." Stephen Bennett, an ex-homosexual and head of Stephen Bennett Ministries, hopes to educate listeners about the goals of the homosexual community through the one-minute commentaries. The ministry's website says the new feature is the first of its kind "dedicated specifically to addressing issues relating to homosexuality and the 'gay' agenda – from the Christian perspective." Bennett tells WND the project is a joint effort between him and Dick Bott of the Bott Radio Network. Within a few months, he expects the commentaries to be a regular feature on hundreds of Christian radio stations. They also are available streamed at www.StraightTalkRadio.org. Yesterday's commentary, entitled "Christian Eye for the Queer Guy," was a discussion of Bravo TV's program "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy." Says Bennett in his audio piece: "The show's message to America is quite clear: We need gay men to teach straight men how to be real men." He challenges the cable network to create a show where Christian men show a homosexual man how he can "become a new man in Christ as in 2 Corinthians 5:17 … proclaiming through the power of Jesus Christ homosexuals can change." Bennett made news a year ago when he engaged in an on-air verbal joust with Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly about biblical morality. ==================== ==================== (4) Condoms - Female Killers ...Women who contract the sexually transmitted disease known as human papillomavirus, or HPV, may be in danger of developing cervical cancer, but most women are unaware of the threat. According to Reuters, a recent survey found that less than a third of female respondents had ever even heard of HPV. That ignorance can be deadly, as 95% of women with cervical cancer have HPV. The disease is not only incurable, but women cannot protect themselves from the virus by insisting that their sex partners use a condom because it is often found on areas of the skin not covered by a prophylactic. That may explain why HPV is among the most common sexually transmitted disease in America, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). There are some 20 million Americans infected with it, and 5.5 million new cases are reported in the U.S. each year. [AFA Journal] ==================== ==================== (5) Federal Morality Amendments - Analysis Justification! Dear Friend, Hopefully, by now, you've read and acted on the InfoQuest* ACTION Alert regarding the good-intentioned Christians who are destroying our Republic's ability to preserve moral law by trying to federalize morality laws, which, as the Christian Founding Fathers of the U.S.A. planned, are reserved for the states, for a GOOD reason! http://fp.users.fast.net/InfoQuest/government.htm#Federal_Marriage_Amendment So far, I received a letter from Richard M. Norris, Correspondence Assistant to Dr. Dobson, on October 6, in reply to my letter that I sent Dr. Dobson, which had the article enclosed, "Constitutional Trojan Horse." From Richard's reply, I could see that he did carefully read my letter. He said that he was incorporating it into the report that is given to Dr. Dobson, which he said, sometimes makes Dr. Dobson change strategies. We shall see. Albert Moore of Lehigh Valley Citizens for Traditional Values wrote back in agreement with my analysis, which is shared by the John Birch Society and the Institute on the Constitution. It's a start. Randall Terry has also shown interest in the truth disclosed in Constitutional Trojan Horse, by George Detweiler. InfoQuest* joined a pro-family network back when I fought the sodomite-rights Pennsylvania Hate Crimes bill in 2002. This network includes the American Family Association, Eagle Forum, Christian Coalition, and others. Sadly, many have joined the national push by pro-family organization to terminate states' rights over morality legislation and judicial action. The easily-understood reasons for changing this horrible event is spelled-out in the ACTION Alert. Since the reasoning set forth in the ACTION Alert have yet to take root in our friends, I replied to the pro-family network with the following words, hoping to prove my ability, provided only through the grace of Jesus Christ, to understand the situation and provide the best solution to our present legislative and judicial dilemma. My words follow, which precede Bill's e-mail that contains a false argument. Thank you for taking the time to read my words. Dear Bill and friends, I reply to you with the greatest sincerity and urgency. Those of you who know me personally from working together on state, national, and international issues know that both my intentions and actions are Spirit-led and sincere as shown through the InfoQuest* Ministry. Although I feel that I am qualified on my position regarding federal amendments and legislation on moral law from my years of study of the U.S. Constitution, my studies through the Institute on the Constitution, WallBuilders, Randall Terry's Taking Back the Gates, the John Birch Society, and my earlier studies on American civics from becoming a Silver Palm Eagle Scout, I am copying my "mentors" for your reference and questions; Delegate Don Dwyer, Jr., Maryland Legislature, Director - Institute on the Constitution; Randall Terry, Creator of "Taking Back the Gates" and founder of Operation Rescue; David Barton of WallBuilders; and The John Birch Society. Although I have written to every national pro-family leader who is pushing the federalization of moral law and removing this right from the states (Dr. Dobson, Dr. Donald Wildmon, Gary Bauer, Mike Farris, Tony Perkins, SBC Ethics Committee, etc.), I have received no formal reply from any. History shows that it is far easier to ignore a truthful issue than to discuss it. Those who have been copied on these letters are Dr. Laura, Hans Zeiger of the Scout Honor Coalition, Joseph Farah of WorldNetDaily, the Center for Reclaiming America, and many others). To address Bill's points, Bill wrote that "There is no longer universal agreement on moral law." Bill is correct in saying that there is not universal agreement on moral law today; however, there has never been universal agreement on moral law and understanding. This is why, for thousands of years, people have been amending the Bible, creating such abominations as the Book of Mormon, the Koran, and others. The Bible is not broken; should it be amended because some do not understand it? Should we condone the amending of the Bible? Just because some people do not understand the founding legal documents of the U.S.A. does not mean that these documents should be amended! There is a false school of thought being taught to law students today; that the Constitution is a "living document" that is supposed to change with the times. Sounds familiar. The same thing is said about the Bible, which is why it has been amended into many abominable versions and translations. Pastor David Whitney's (of the Institute on the Constitution) article (PDF), "The Most Misused and Abused Amendment in the Constitution" [the 14th Amendment, used in Bill's argument] addresses this living Constitution lie: "The Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution has been a tool in the hands of subversives to undermine and nullify our Constitutional Republic. Oddly enough, the usurpers have actually admitted their crime. Retired Supreme Court Justice William Brennan acknowledged in his 1996, April 28th Op-Ed piece in the New York Times that he abandoned the original intent interpretation of the Constitution. 'I approached my responsibility of interpreting it [the Constitution] as a 20th-century American… for the genius of the Constitution rests not in any static meaning it may have had in a world dead and gone but in its evolving character.' If the Constitution contains no “static meaning” what is the purpose of having a written document at all!" If you have not already read Pastor Whitney's article through my latest InfoQuest* E-Newsletter, I beg you, I beseech you, I implore you to do it now (Click here to open or Right-Click and 'Save target as' to save to your PC). http://www.instituteontheconstitution.com/newsletters/2003_October.pdf David Barton, in his video/transcript, "America's Godly Heritage," proves that is was not the fault of the U.S. founding documents that Roe v. Wade was passed, it was the fault of the U.S. Supreme Court (and more so the fault of our Fed reps for even allowing the Fed Supreme Court to hear the case!) in its blatant willing ignorance of our Federal Constitution: Regardless of the U.S. Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision in 1973 or in subsequent rulings, abortion is illegal and unconstitutional. The preamble to the U.S. Constitution says it all! "We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." Who are the subjects and beneficiaries of the Constitution, as stated clearly in the preamble? The answer: "… to ourselves and our posterity …" The word "ourselves" in this context refers to those men who wrote it and to their generation of Americans. "Posterity," which literally means "descendants" or all succeeding generations, refers, in this context, to all those Americans yet unborn. Is your great, great, great, great grandson your posterity? Absolutely. Is he born yet? Absolutely not. Does the fact that he is not yet born make him any less your posterity? No. Do you see the truth here? The U.S. Federal Constitution already protects the unborn in its own Preamble! The Federal Supreme Court justices who ruled on Roe v Wade should have been impeached on the spot! Our founding U.S.A. documents have never been broken and needing amendments! Our Declaration of Independence states that all men are created equal. David Barton, as well as a myriad of other constitutional experts, shows that the Declaration of Independence is inseparable from our U.S. Federal Constitution. An amendment to our Federal Constitution on slavery was redundant to say the least! Our Christian Founding Fathers prayed to Jesus Christ regarding all of their decisions when creating the separation of powers between the federal government and state governments regarding moral laws. David Barton says it himself: "Numerous components of our current government can be shown - through those early writings - to have their source in Biblical concepts. For example, the concept for three branches of government can be found in Isaiah 33:22; the logic for the separation of powers was based on Jeremiah 17:9; the basis of tax exemptions for churches was found in Ezra 7:24; and there are many other examples." Enough basic moral law is in our Federal Legal documents to allow the states to create the specific moral legislation designed specifically for each state by the citizens of each individual state. The solution is not in amending the documents created by the Founding Fathers of the U.S.A.! The solution is in enforcing them! As I wrote to you before, quoting "Constitutional Trojan Horse," by George Detweiler, The proper remedy to judicial usurpation is to employ a little-known power contained in Article III, Section 2 of the Constitution, which allows Congress to make exceptions to the appellate jurisdiction of the Supreme Court. This power applies, by extension, to all federal courts, since the Supreme Court is the only federal court established by the Constitution and Congress established all other federal courts. This power could be used to prevent the federal courts from hearing cases from abortion to the Pledge of Allegiance. If this were done, myriad pretexts for endlessly tampering with the Constitution would be lost. This is the solution, designed by our Christian Founding Fathers, to keep specific moral laws away from federal control, in the hands of a select few, and keeping them in our hands, the hands of "We The People." As I wrote to your before, this is the way that it is set up, the way that it is supposed to work: If Californians decide that homosexual marriage or abortion is legal in their state and make it California law, ethical Californians can move to a pro-life/pro-traditional-marriage state. This could hit California hard (gone tax money, employees, etc.) and could pressure CA to change its laws, and this would help the pro-life/pro-traditional-marriage state to which the ethical Californians moved. Either way, it gives more control to We The People, and abortion/sodomy would still be illegal in moral states, and God-defined marriage would be the only legal choice in moral states. The solution to take care of our evil Supreme Court is being spearheaded by Randal Terry on his http://www.twistedsix.com/ website. Impeachment. Yet why have our representative not acted? I received a letter back from Rick Santorum, who said that he verbalized discontent, yet he would not do as I asked and call for impeachment! The solution to the tyranny in our present political processes lies not in amending our constitutions and founding documents, but in studying them, studying the founding documents of the U.S.A. written by Christian men, and enforcing our constitutions as they were intended from their inception! I am begging you to please, please change the destructive strategy to amend our Federal Constitution and preserve the protections given to us by our Christian Founding Fathers! Please please follow the Action Items in my Alert here: http://fp.users.fast.net/InfoQuest/government.htm#Federal_Marriage_Amendment_Trojan_Horse Most Sincerely in Christ, Erich G.
